Permanent capital
One balance sheet, no fund life. We underwrite decades, which lets us ignore the noise that forces others to act.
Private Holding Company · Singapore · Danish roots
Jakubiak is a family-owned holding company. We own and build businesses, real assets and long-duration positions from the Nordics to Southeast Asia, run on an AI-native operating platform and a horizon measured in generations rather than quarters.

01 — The thesis
FAMILY-OWNED
INDEPENDENT
NO OUTSIDE CAPITAL
Most capital is borrowed against someone else’s clock. Ours is not. Jakubiak holds its positions through a single balance sheet with no fund life, no redemption window and no mandate to deploy. That freedom lets us be unusually decisive when an opportunity is right, and unusually still when it is not.
The group is small by headcount and large by reach. Every operating decision is supported by an in-house intelligence layer that reads, models and monitors continuously, so a handful of people can steward a portfolio that would once have required a floor.
02 — How we operate
One balance sheet, no fund life. We underwrite decades, which lets us ignore the noise that forces others to act.
We prefer to own businesses outright and sit close to the people who run them. Governance is light, standards are not.
Property, land and infrastructure from Denmark to Singapore, managed with the same rigour as any security on the book.
Research, monitoring, reporting and correspondence run through a proprietary intelligence layer. Leverage without headcount.
03 — The intelligence layer
Jakubiak runs on an in-house platform built around frontier language models. It ingests the group’s correspondence, contracts, accounts and market data; maintains a living model of every position; and surfaces what matters to the principals before it is urgent.
Humans decide. The machine makes sure we decide with the whole picture.

02 · Models

03 · Judgement
A small group of principals who make every material decision.
04 · Capital
Deployed, held or withdrawn through a single balance sheet.
04 — Heritage
01
Poland
The Jakubiak name belongs to a family of farmers from rural Poland. Little of their life was recorded, but the trade they knew, the land and what it could yield, is the trade the family would carry north.
02
The crossing
In the early twentieth century a young Jakubiak woman left Poland for Denmark, part of the wave of Polish farm workers who crossed the Baltic for seasonal work in the Danish fields. She did not go back.
03
Denmark
She settled, married and farmed potatoes on Danish soil. Capital, in that household, meant seed held back from one harvest to plant the next. It is the oldest principle in the group and still the one we respect most.
04
Today
Her great-grandson built Jakubiak as a holding company in her name: family-owned, Danish-rooted, and run with the same instinct to keep what compounds. The farm became a balance sheet. The patience did not change.
05 — From the principal
“We are not in a hurry. We intend to own good things for a very long time, to run them with care, and to let the machines do the reading so the people can do the thinking.”
